Minutes of the Annual General Meeting
at Norscot Angling Club on Wednesday 18 June 2008

1. Apologies for absence were received from:
• Douglas Coutts
• Brian Peterson
• Matthew Lawrence
2. The minutes of the previous AGM were read by all present. Motion to adopt proposed by AL, seconded by RL. Minutes adopted as a true record.
3. Chairman’s report – the club has run one major event since the last AGM – the Keith Tippett gig in the Town Hall which was a great success attracting an audience of 70 people. The future of the club is in doubt due to lack of interest from members in assisting with event organisation.
4. Treasurer’s Report. The club’s bank balance stands at £1,214.54 and the final accounting for the Tippett gig still has to be done.
5. The Club’s constitution shall be amended as follows:
- The position of Music Coordinator shall be abolished.
- The position of Organiser / Chairman shall be altered to be held in rotation by committee members and shall be nominated at each committee meeting
- Membership fees shall be abolished
- The committee membership shall be 4 persons
- A quorum for a committee meeting shall be 2 persons
6. The following committee has been elected:

7. The committee will organise one film show and one gig during 2008/9
8. There being no further business, the meeting closed at 20:30
